NEW V12 FEATURES
We have improved the performance of CabMaster Software in many areas so the overall feel and
use of this new product should be noticeably quicker when placing cabinets or when pressing F8
etc. We have also reduced the Memory Load for larger drawings.
CM-Design-2: A new distributed models library
We have created a new library for 3D Models. These now include an image of the model in Plan
and Elevation views to show exactly what the model is.
Wall Rangehood Canopy Cabinet Added
We have added a new ‘Wall Rangehood Canopy’ cabinet. This is a configurable cabinet that lets
you create a range of different construction and designs for Rangehood canopies. As per images
below.
"Runner Editor" instead of direct table editing
We have now introduced a simple Runner Editor to allow a simple, graphical method of editing
runner tables to suit your requirements as required.
There are multiple ways of accessing this editor, firstly go to ‘hardware / Managers’ then select
Runner Editor and select and edit the required runner from there. Or,
go to ‘Hardware / Drawers’ and edit the runner set, then edit the runners from in there.
Once in the main editor page, at the top you can select each individual runner available, then
below, you will have a Green Tick next to the available tables that can be edited. Just press the
button and the editor for that specific table will open for editing.
Drawer Front Markers
Drawer Front Markers are drill holes included in the back of a drawer front to indicate which
drawer it is. Drawers are numbered 1 to x from the bottom up. The markers are a series of holes
representing the drawer number. One hole for drawer 1, 2 holes for drawer 2 etc.
These markers are placed in line with the bottom right hand side of the base of the drawer and
can be offset from this position so as to be hidden upon construction.
This option is found in Drawing Properties ‘Mach. General / Tool’ page under the Markers option.
Ability to customize reports
If you go to Drawing Properties then ‘Reports’ there are quite a few different options that let you
configure the way reports get displayed. Such as edging details, drawing names and what is and
isn’t displayed on certain reports such as pictures turned on/off.
New reports
We have included a range of new reports, specifically for different usage. Such as a Board report
sorted by cabinet then material, or by material then cabinet, or finished size or by cut size.
Handle can now be drilled from the back face
In the Handle Editor, you now have the ability to specify if the handle holes are to be drilled in the
back face of doors. You can also specify if you want to drill to a different depth or use a different
layer from the default options.
DoorMaster LT: Series 6 Style 1 (the X Door)
An ‘X’ style door profile has been added to our DoorMaster LT profiles.
DoorMaster LT: All Series - Multiple Paned Doors
We have added the ability to add panes to a door profile. These can include glass cutouts if
required too. You can also specify how many panes wide by how many panes high, it’s all up to
you.
DoorMaster LT: All Series - Arched Doors
We have also added the option to include arches for most profiles. These can include glass
cutouts if required. You can also change the arch to include a shoulder and step or a combination
of options to create the arch required.
Shelf Standard: Machined face option
The Shelf Standard Cabinet now has the option to specify which face is machined.
Floor Servery: Ability to oversize Panels individually
The Floor Servery cabinets can now over size the extension panel separately from the main back
panel, giving you more flexibility.
Floor UBO 2: End panel height adjustable
The Floor UBO2 now includes the options to specify the height of the side panels.
Such as full height, flush with front panels, below shadow rail or by specifying a gap from top.
You can also specify the edged sides of these panels.
Floor Rail: Ability to apply custom machining tables
The stand alone Floor Rail cabinet can now have a Custom Machining table applied to it.
This really opens this up as you can add pretty much anything to this part now.
BUT remember, it doesn't have to be a rail, it is a part you can make any size and do anything
with.
Corner Filler: Panel overlaps allowed
The Corner Fillers now have the option to include an overlap of the panels, allowing for easier
installation and assembly.
Tall Corner: Mid Shelf options enhanced
The Tall Corner cabinet now gives you control of the ‘Mid’ shelf to select if it is Fixed or Adjustable
Appliance cabinets models updated with elevations views
The Appliance Cabinets (Wall Appliance, Ovens, Microwaves etc) have had their models updated
to include elevation images of the selected models for better renders and display.
Panels, Fillers and Bar Backs: 6th Face Machining override
At Cabinet level, all End Panels, Fillers and Bar Back Cabinets have options to override the 6th
face machining selection in the Drawing properties.
This allows the 6th face machining to be turned off for these panels when Door Profiles are
selected.
These options are found on the Machining Page of associated cabinets.
6th Face Machining: layer name override
When you are using 6th Face Machining on Doors for example, and you also have a panel but you
only want to machine the panel on a single face. This new flag lets you append the layer name of
the Pofiel layers so you can setup an ATP in EzyNest to accommodate profiles being machined in
the front and back face but only for the parts required.
This option is found in Drawing Properties / Mach. General / 6th Face Machining
‘Edit Wall’ and ‘Edit Wall Edge’ r-click menu
To make it easier to modify a Walls Properties or edit a specific face of a wall, you can now right
click on the wall ands select either ‘Edit Wall’ or ‘Edit Wall Edge’ and CabMaster will take you
directly to the operation you want to do.
Drawings get Compressed on Save
All drawings now automatically get compressed when saving. This reduces the size of drawings
saved on your computer, therefore allowing for more drawings to be saved and reducing required
size of total backups.
Make 64bit AMSCloud build available
Previous versions of CabMaster Software had 32-bit application architecture, which means that it
could only use up to 4GB of memory. Version 12 application is now 64bit architecture and can
now use up to 16 billion GB of memory. This gives us an insane amount of memory space and
helps stabilize and optimize how CabMaster Software runs on your system.
Walkthrough Animation
We have now introduced Walkthrough Animations inside CabMaster.
Firstly, go to 3D View and place Cameras at each point of interest you want the walkthrough to
go to. Then press the ‘Walkthrough Animation’ button and select the camera views in the order you
want. You can also set the time it waits at each camera point and the time it takes to move
between each camera point.
You can then select the resolution of the walkthrough you want, the number of frames per second
and an audio soundtrack if you so desire.
Then you can either press ‘Render’ (which uses the standard CabMaster Graphics, but is quick) or
press ‘Render using PhotoView’ (which uses Photoview Rendering but is slower)
See video sample at link below.

We have now introduced a Floor Tool which will make it easier and quicker to add a floor to your
drawings. You can also set a thickness for the floor and also set a height from ‘0’. This will now let
you multiple floors and different heights if required.
We have also introduced a Ceiling tool to the Insert Menu in CabMaster.
These ceilings have options to be invisible from the top so you can see through them in 3D, they
can also be sloped to let you create cathedral type ceilings in your drawings.
Masking the previously used activation code for cloud2
In the latest version, it no longer displays the previously used activation code for cloud2 acquires.
If you have one encrypted and remembered in the registry, then the dialog looks like this:
