Creating a new Cabinet Palette in CabMaster

In CabMaster you can customise the Palette to suit your designing needs. Setting up the Palette with standard offerings makes it much quicker to complete regular drawings.

Step-by-step instructions

1. From the Current Palette section of the ribbon, select the 'Change Palette' option and select 'Add Palette...'


2. In the 'New Palette Name' pop up enter a name for your new palette, and select 'OK'

3. From the 'Customise Palette' pop up, select the items you would like to appear in your new palette, then select 'OK'



Deleting unused palettes

Unused palettes can be deleted. To delete a palette:
1. From the Current Palette section of the ribbon, select the 'Change Palette' option and select the palette you wish to delete.
2. Once the palette is selected, From the Current Palette section of the ribbon, select the 'Change Palette' option and select the 'Delete Current Palette' option

Tips and tricks

You can customise the Current Palette section of the ribbon to display the name of each item under the picture.



To do this select File > Options > Images, check the 'Show captions' checkbox, and select 'OK'.

Troubleshooting

If you have made new cabinets in your library you might find that the cabinets are not appearing in the palette when you have selected them, or are not appearing correctly. To fix this issue, go to 'File > Options':

Select 'Images' from the menu on the left, and then select 'Regenerate Images'. Please not that all images in your library will be redrawn with the Style selected above the Regenerate Images button, and this process can take some time depending on mow many cabinets are in your library.
